Sketch-A-Day 266
Danny in some actual chainmail that hints at his future costume look.
Also, i FINALLY landed on a Scarab Stone design that I'm happy with. I'd always had it look like too much of a logo. If this stone has been around for millenia, then it would make sense that it would be a pretty solid shape (no thin legs poking out to get broken off). This gives the beetle shape while still being solid enough and allows it to look carved too.

Sketch-A-Day 261
This is a little cartoony chick that I've been drawing on our wipe board, for my daughter, alot. The kids have told me that I'm ripping off something called "My Teenage Robot"...i thought I was just ripping off Megaman. I told her "Whatever." and she gave me a menacing look. My six year old daughter who mind you, will try to force-choke me from across the room.

Sketch-A-Day 251
Atomica with Danny Garrety looking on...she's got a little bit of the whole "Attack of the 50 foot Woman" thing going on. Only she doesn't really get up to 50 feet tall. She's more of the 18-20 foot woman.
This is the initial sketch, in the final I'll be overlapping Garrety a little bit to help with scale and to line up their glances a little better.
(thank you Bettie Page reference)

Sketch-A-Day 250
I've been working really hard on the "history books" of Garrety's world. It's time consuming and sometimes annoying. I wanna make sure all the pieces fit together so that hopefully it's more of an enjoyable read. Y'know reveals and twists and shit.
Elves are children of the earth, so a minimalist ideal in battle seems to fit them. I went with a blending of Zulu and Spartan designs...with a little extra here and there.
