Sketch-A-Day 365!!!!

THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY FIVE IS A BIG FUCKING NUMBER!!!

Holy shit balls, that took a while. So the first image is of my old guy superhero STARBLAST drawn by the amazing Cory Walker. He was the inspiration behind starting this Sketch-A-Day for 365 thing and so it's only fitting that it be ended with a drawing from him. I colored it up for your viewing enjoyment.

The next drawing is of another star-themed character from the Major City Universe is a spandex version of his costume...I really need to work on my coloring more-- yowza! It's been a while.

I'm going to neglect the fuck out of this blog for a couple weeks. After that activity might start to slowly return.

Thanks for lookin folks!!

Sketch-A-Day 132

Sketch-A-Day 131

Sketch-A-Day 55

Sketch-A-Day 51

a little tiny Starshield in his old jersey shirt look.

Sketch-A-Day 1

is 4 days too late....but fuck it.

It's also an actual "sketch." I'm shit at vehicles and this is my attempt to rough out a drawing Jimmy (aka Starshield) on his bike.

Starshield, RetroRobot, Megabolt and more...

The more being those two little bullets bouncing off of Megabolt's hand.

This is the raw scan of a battle damaged Jimmy (mid-sword fight) and some other stuff. Pen sketches on copy paper.

Starshield new look sketch dump

Some ink drawings of Starshield in his modified new look. I'm downing the amount of color on him and going for a little darker vibe.

I'm also finally ditching that horrible anime hair that he had for so long. As some might have seen, I was toying with a pompadour for a little while, but it just made it look like i was trying to hard. So, I just went with a shortened version of the anime hair that looks a littler Greek'er, which is inline with the story.

Die mans are forever

Here's my attempt for Starshield to pull off a hip shot....it reminds me of the JamesBond intro for some reason.

Playing with my chisel tip

...and my new pen too. HEY-OH!

I gotta little Prismacolor combo pack w/ a chisel and a smaller brush (than i'm used to) and a couple tech pens. I decided to play around with some spandex shadow on Starshield/Starblast for funzies.

So enjoy a buncha pen sketches w/ no clean up.
